Panic Alert (Lone Worker Security)

Government safety and lone worker guidelines are putting the onus on employers to ensure a reliable means of communication with workers who cannot receive immediate assistance from another employee.

Panic Alert provides your employees with the ability to notify you in an emergency situation. The employee sends an alert through one of two available Panic Alert devices to a 24/7 monitoring centre, which then contacts the user's company to relay the user's precise location.

One of the Panic Alert devices provides an "intrinsically safe", Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approved, "man-down" functionality. This option has been designed for work in hazardous environments and will not ignite emissions or fumes when activated.

Panic Alert is available either as a stand-alone product or as an add-on to the LoadTrak Vehicle Tracking solution.

With Panic Alert, you can:

  • activate an emergency alert anywhere, anytime, with the push of a single button,
  • maintain alert connectivity within 300 metres (1000 feet) of the outfitted vehicle,
  • have reliable communication with a 24-hour monitoring centre, and
  • ensure the safety and security of your workers.

Performance Management Advisor

Performance Management Advisor (PMA) , is a Vehicle Tracking option that allows you to:

  • monitor driving habits,
  • reduce fuel, tire, and maintenance costs,
  • measure and track speed, idling, hard braking, and fuel consumption,
  • analyse engine performance to refine maintenance scheduling, and
  • effectively analyze driver safety records for a single driver or an entire fleet.

Back Office Integration

Back Office Integration is a Vehicle Tracking option that enables the transfer of data between the LoadTrak application and some of the most popular business software. You can:

  • send messages directly to vehicles via your dispatch software,
  • take raw data from a customized form or the the LoadTrak Data Centre and enter it into various software applications,
  • reduce redundant data entry and lost paperwork,
  • speed up report creation, and
  • produce more accurate customer billing.

Fuel Tax Reporting

Fuel Tax Reporting is a Vehicle Tracking feature that uses GPS and geofencing technology to effectively gather accurate information for fuel tax reporting. With Fuel Tax Reporting:

  • you'll significantly reduce the cost of calculating fuel tax by reducing or potentially eliminating outsourcing,
  • drivers no longer have to record odometer readings when they cross provincial or state boundaries,
  • manual recording errors are eliminated,
  • distance-travelled data is automatically recorded and logged by province and state and sent regularly to the LoadTrak Data Centre,
  • there is no waiting for driver's to return readings; you can view the data any time you need it, and
  • you can import the distance-travelled data directly into your existing fuel tax software program to simplify and accelerate reporting to the International Fuel Tax Association (IFTA).
